This is a family run hotel in a Predominantly German speaking corner of Belgium. Historically the town of Saint Vith, where this hotel is located, has been caught between the interests of Belgium and Germany and during the Ardennes Offensive St Vith was totally destroyed. The hotel is presently battling the challenge of COVID and continues to open its doors and welcome guests. I have stayed here several times and use it as a platform to hike around the area. It is an excellent hotel. The food is superb and the welcome great. Although at present the restaurant and recreation centre is closed the hotel continues to provide accommodation and breakfast in a manner that does it proud.
