Loved this hotel from the start. The hotel was clean, the staff welcoming, and the food at breakfast great. The bar was a particularly fun place, and we spent both evenings there as a family. We’ve travelled a fair bit, and this is the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in, in mainland Europe, and a lot better than some in the U.K. and USA! Can’t understand why the negative reviews. Nice touches with the Christmas decorations; really homely and made it feel festive. Communal areas as clean as the rooms, and was great to see the beds made when we got back cold and wet after the storm! Really can’t recommend enough - a fantastic stay and already thinking about coming back.
