B&B Villa le Monde

We stayed for a week in August. Dined twice, because food was so good the first time. Breakfast is plentiful. There is an honesty bar in the dinning room / guest area, all drinks are chilled, soft, wine and Belgium beers. This was very welcome during our visit coinciding with a heatwave. View from our room across to woodland one way and the town and castle the other. The castle makes a spectacular backdrop to the town. Caroline is an excellent host and the dog is daft and charming. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for us. Storage for our Kayaks was a benefit, could be used for cycles. Walk to town square, 400m. Numerous restaurants here, not far over the river to Spar. No other British people that we noticed. A lot of people spoke English, even if a little, refreshingly some spoke none. La Roche en Ardenne is an interesting place, attractive, historical and sporty.
