We reserved 2 rooms, for 3 adults and 2 small children.   Upon arrival, our first impression was really bad. Also owner very "unfresh" .  Terrible smell, enterence and hallway was dirty.  Old, not modern, just with a touch of paint.  Breakfastroom was  not clean.  Rooms were cleaned but shabby .  When we suggested this carefully to the owner he didn't really listened and told us he didn't understand our point.  At the end he really got agitated en nervous.  We had already paid for the 2 rooms  270 €'!!  but even then we didn't want to stay there 1 minute longer.     Especially not with 2 children.      Very sorry about the money but really happy we slept at another hotel!     Think twice before you book.

Book at own risk!

We had one of the most beautiful rooms completely renovated. But: DIY, torches under the windows, detached sidewalks,... sauna not started up in advance and therefore unusable... and cherry on the cake, a window that looks out on the hallway. So, when you light up at night, the whole room is lit up. Breakfast varied. Positive points: real orange juice for breakfast, bed perfectly convenient and quiet. But very expensive hygiene, dirty eating, total order for a maxi room is doubtful.

Fortunately it was only one night

We had the 2 family rooms, on the 3rd floor without an elevator, from a furnished attic, Attention to the little light in the attic staircase, I missed a walk!!!; few electrical and vibrant sockets..A lot of dust; To have a little choice for breakfast, you have to get up early. You get a glass of pressed orange juice, obligation to drink it and you get 1 and not 2!!!. To have a glass of water for medicines, you have to beg and you only bring it with your heart. The person in charge of the B&B is very military.

b&b for a night of travel

Home made by a dirty and disorganized team. Home office = household storage! The only positive point = bed and break and close to the beach. But really neat refurbishment. Simple net warm water. Never cleaned shower pot full of limestone. Breakfast room with disgusting backyard view. We didn't want to have breakfast there even if it was included in the price. Very decent compared to the photos presented.

This B&B has no charm.

I stayed with my family last night. As a journalist I am writing an article for the Belgian coast. This morning a gentleman (guest?) who speaks between Chinese and Dutch behaved very badly with me during breakfast. He is such a rude person! Not even a hello, he dared to speak to me in a bad tone and he changed my place (my cafe, my bread and my jacket almost yelling at me!), all this in front of other people! For a B&B that leaves a lot to be cleaned (noise, desire, comfort), I will put this thing on the blacklist of places to avoid the beauty of the landscape.

Horrifyingly Loathsome

We're greeted by the tenant, not very clean on him, a smell of moss all over the building and all over the unclean areas.

It's not good!

clean, bright room in a pleasant neighbourhood. the sea in front of the door - to see and taste from the balcony! Smoking was also possible there - rarely, rarely!! we were fully satisfied with price/performance - thank you!

Urban style - we were happy!

This an excellent B&B. You are beside the coast, there are nice restaurants nearby, there is free parking and you are half hour from the lovely little city of Brugge.
 ( Well worth a visit) 
Fred, the owner cannot do enough to help you and he lays on very nice continental breakfast. All in all ideal. Recommended.

This place has a cancellation policy of 7 days... be careful.
I cancelled 5 days in advance without knowing it, but was charged the full amount. 
I asked if it would be at least possible to change the date to another date somewhere in the year (in the low season for example), but they said no. We are in high season so I know the room was rented to someone else... = double money for one room. Greedy people.

So one thing is sure, I would NOT recomand a place that does business like this !!!

Strange business practices - even though I did not sleep there

The B&B is located in the centre of Heist and has good rooms including breakfast. The owner is very accommodating and always ready to give tips. Via the main road you get directly to the beach. Only the parking options are not optimal, but this is more due to the city's policy rather than the hotel.
