29 reviewsMy husband and I came to Genk for a friends wedding. Quick note: Hotel Artel may be soon be referred to as Green Hotel.The hotel staff accommodated a late check in without any hassle. We felt welcome from the minute we stepped into the reception area. Clean rooms (very efficient design and use of space), free wifi, closet space, mini fridge, tv, mini kettle - everything we really needed for our short stay. The hotel location is perfect, right in the city center - steps away from the train station, grocery store, shopping mall(!!!), a beautiful park and some local bakeries/ restaurants/ bars. The manager of the hotel, Kwinten, went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable; he promptly replied to all our requests/ needs. It was very clear that he loves what he does and his beautiful city. Thank you for all your kindness and accommodation!!! We are looking forward coming back and experiencing the new Roots Bar!!!
