B&B Le Maquis

Ideally located, this B&B is in the center of this Belgian resort, a beautiful Flemish house of white brick, the interior is very cozy, the room is impeccable both in terms of bedding and cleanliness. The breakfast was gigantic! Winery, bread, ham cheese, homemade jam, Belgian chocolate, fruit salad, etc. Even a solid appetite can't get over it! The owners are very kind. All for a very reasonable price.

It's perfect. It's a very pleasant time.

We were very pleased with the room. The whole house is very nicely decorated. The breakfast was plenty, nothing was lacking and it would have been loosely enough for 6 people. Free parking in front of the house is also not to be despised, the beach is no more than 10 minutes away. So if you don't need sea view for it but want a quiet room with a friendly hostess, you're right here! We'll be back next year!

Very nice B&B, away from the hustle and bustle

Nice B&B with a great breakfast and a nice garden. Nice ambience especially the living room, rooms not huge but with a big bathroom, water boiler, TV, mini fridge, free Wi-Fi and more. In the garden you can sit wonderfully, it's 10 minutes walk to the sea.

Nice B&B in a central location

A nice house, two very nice rooms, a great individual breakfast prepared by the friendly hostess. A nice garden all around. In the middle of the village but still quiet. A refrigerator in the room and a kettle. Plenty of space, no tight room. Ideal for relaxation - a short vacation, as you imagine - as we even found a parking space in the same street. And we'll be very happy to come back.

Wonderful B&B

hi spent 2 nights at la maquis in cold wet march and found it perfect for our short break in an ideal position in the very centre of town,the b&b has 2 rooms and we stayed in the smaller room which was very pleasant and very well equipped with lovely bathroom,tea and coffee and plenty of tv channels etc etc but if you were staying longer i would go for the bigger room as it has a sitting area .breakfast was fabulous and so plentiful that we never ate again till nighttime. patricia who runs the place was very pleasant and i would not hesitate in recommending la maquis and wil definitely stay here when we return to de haan

Perfect b&b base for a short break

We had a really lovely stay at this pleasant B&B. The room was very comfortable with splendid shower, fridge and free wifi. Breakfast was a fantastic, with a marvelous array of fresh breads, cooked meats, fruit and cereals and homemade preserves and as if this wasn't enough you could also have eggs and ham etc too. The owner made is extremely welcome and was helpful with directions etc. 
The Belgian coast is lovely and wonderful place to visit, the kusttram which  runs all the way along the coast is a fantastic was of getting around with a hop on hop off ticket for three days costing around ten euros. There is also some lovely coast walks.
We will definitely return!

A very warm welcome

The B&B has only two rooms. We had booked the larger one for three nights. A room where we felt very comfortable, with two metal beds, a large cupboard and two chairs with tables. On a dresser there is a flat screen TV that also receives German TV. Besides, there is a table with a kettle to buy coffee or tea. The bathroom is without windows, but it is large enough, equipped with everything important and very clean. It was quite cold when we arrived. We were able to set up the heating and it was very hot. But you can also open the window without fear of having to make mosquitoes, so it's a very nice snack on a window sill. I also slept well here, because every morning I had a nice breakfast, and I couldn't even feel a lot of it on the street. I could not buy a whole lot of fresh cheese on the street, and it was very nice for us to go to the B&B!
