Owner was meant to meet me, my daughter & 6 year old granddaughter at the property at 6.30pm but he didn’t turn up. Waited outside in the dark in a deserted car park.  Phoned him & he said I was to call caretaker but I wasn’t given the number. Owner very argumentative on phone especially when I told him that we felt extremely unsafe waiting in an unlit area and were told to wait outside near the property. Caretaker arrived after 20 minutes and was very helpful and apologetic. Took us to our room which was changed from the original room as the former had no WiFi although all rooms stated WiFi. Double bed was 2 singles pushed together and sofa bed was king size so the double sheets we had to bring were too small- should have been advised of this. No switch to turn off lounge lights so awake most of the night due to the brightness. Pubic hair on the provided bottom sheet. Dirty and very lumpy pillows. Extremely difficult to open exit door- huge risk in the event of a fire! Once outside couldn’t lock door so belongings at risk of theft. Only 1 TV channel in Spanish. Reported to Hotels.com who tried to contact owner but calls not answered. Hotels.com advisor kept insisting on phoning me to lodge my concern despite having text all issues to her. Advisor woke up my granddaughter with her frequent phone calls even after I asked her to stop phoning and that I would call Hotels.com customer service on my return to England the following day.

Reported to Hotels.com that night who tried to contact owner but calls not answered. They called him the next morning and he denied everything.

Unsafe, dirty and AVOID

Overpriced for the very basic amenities. Not worth the price. There are other places nearby that may cost a little more, but would be worth it!  Wifi doesn't really work. There is no staff on-site so you have to call if you need something.

Run-down, very basic

We had such a wonderful time at this warm and friendly place, it was perfect for us, we arrived and was greeted immediately by the caretaker Marleen, whom was extremely friendly and very informative, the apartment we stayed in was immaculate, and had everything we needed, we had a perfect little outside area with tables and chairs, where we spent some evenings relaxing with food and wine! 😎it was very peaceful, all the equipment was in excellent working condition, including TVs DVD player stereo system with cds and dvds to watch! Absolutely loved our stay and we will most certainly be returning again next year. 😃thank you Park Atlantis.

Lovely family break

Park Atlantis hotel Acacia is an old hotel with dated furniture and unpleasant interior (black floor for instance), strong smell of sewage and mould in all rooms. Lack of basic toiletries in the bathroom (no towels, no soap, no toilet paper). No linen in bedroom, blankets and pillows are old and smelly. The service is..., actually there is no service there. We were a bit shocked that this kind of accommodation still exists. Probably the worst place that we've ever stayed, even for a budget accommodation. 
Otherwise, the surrounding area is very beautiful, the nice town of De Haan is 3 km away of this place and it is full of good restaurants, brasseries and green parks. Strongly recommend De Haan hotels within the city limits (we stayed there last summer and it was great) and not this mistakingly overrated and extremely dated hotel.

Overrated. Dated. Not recommended.

To say this accommodation is basic is giving basic a bad name, the apartments though clean were dilapidated with cupboard doors falling off and really dated, you have to bring your own towels and bed linen, we didn't know about the bed linen until the night before so decided to hire it at 10 euros per person none of it fitted the quilts provided and none was labelled to weather was for a single or double bed so took over 2 hours to sort it out. 
The facilities manager was less than helpful when one of the five apartments we had rented complained about a sewage smell in their room and request 3000 euros to have the apartment cleaned.
The site it self is a old water park that has building that need to be demolished but are a death trap to kids as there are windows and doors they can get into that could potentially cause a major injury.
This is the worst accommodation I have ever stopped in there is a bar about 5 minutes walk away and a small shop and restaurant near the bar but everything else is a good drive away.

Football Tour with 15 lads of 14 years old and Families

It is a very run down set of apartments, pools are unusable, very strong smell of sewage/drains. No food available on site, bedding & linen just left in the central area, help yourself (if your aware) but they come looking for payment. If I won a competition of a stay here or prison camp, I'd choose prison. This is not a Hotel its more very basic Hostel like.
