B&Bs are very common, but they're not motivated to sell their property, they're in need of refreshment, they're quiet, they're close to a cemetery.

It's a quiet night.

Beautiful bathroom. Beautiful room, very well decorated and well arranged. Large bathroom and kitchen equipped. Super bed. Generous breakfast. Very nice place. Parking. An address to recommend.

Very nice bed and breakfast

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and there are few amenities around. The room was very nice and well furnished although could do with a spruce up. The nearest eaterie is a golf course restaurant which had excellent food although a bit pricey. Breakfast was served in a small room and was continental. Worth a visit if you want to relax.

Beautiful Location

It's a great place with very welcoming people. It's very quiet and the room was spacious with a nice bathroom. The breakfast was great with a special note for the coffee that was great. The place is away from everything but what a quiet place. For a romantic weekend it's a place to consider. Everything makes you want to stroll around. A good memory.

A place out of time

Booking found it to be a top-of-the-line business, so I booked with my eyes closed. The place is very floppy. The setting is nice, close to the visible and slightly noisy highway but you won't hear it once in the room. We had the LOUIS room. The reception is simple and non-invasive. Everything was settled in 5 minutes. What's amazing is that Booking announced a hotel almost full but this one was completely empty! We were the only ones...not bothering I'll say... The big point is about the cleanliness of the places. I'll target the room in particular. The cleaning has to be done in 15 minutes from the previous booking. A hair was still in the bed.

Nice but clean frame to see throughout the building, especially the bedroom.

Very well received, old batte with all its seals, renovated rooms with good taste but with the disadvantages of the old one (parquets/noisy stairs). Art gallery on the ground floor, overlooking the haras.

Rdv to the campaign

I slept two nights in the Margaux suite, a really spacious apartment with two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and, alas, the usual separate toilet (in a poorly heated area). Very kind and available the owner, excellent breakfast included, Wi-Fi, double TV, immersed in the green in this old Solvay family mansion.

He needs the car, it's foreign, but it's worth it.

We stayed one night towards the end of September. On arrival the site and the building are very impressive and full of character. We were met with a cool reception by one of the owners/managers. We selected the accommodation based on reviews and the fact that on at least two sites a restaurant was mentioned. On requesting a table for two in the restaurant we were informed that the restaurant was not open and that there was one in the village a couple of hundred metres away. We were informed that booking of this restaurant was not necessary and it opened at 19.00. This village restaurant was closed as was a second in the village. A car journey was required to obtain any food. We were also informed by the owner/manager that breakfast was served between 08.00 and 10.00. Despite being later than we required because of a Channel crossing we accepted this. However in the accommodation information it clearly stated that breakfast during the week was 07.00 to 10.00. It felt as if we were serving the needs of the management rather than they providing a service to us.
Our room was full of character but it had not been dusted efficiently. The en suite shower was dirty and had mould around the bottom. The shower did not drain properly, the plug hole was filthy and there was a leak from the base. There was a thick layer of dust in places and spiders webs had not been cleared. The bedroom window would not open. Overall style took on more importance than substance.

Mixed bag

On arrival we had to telephone to obtain access despite a sign saying that someone would be in attendance from 16.00 hrs.  We stayed in a suite which is an annexe to the main house.  This was a converted farm building but the standard of the fittings was very poor and it was furnished with cheap furniture.  It was not clean and the shower did not work.  The management could not care less.  Breakfast was OK.

Appalling

I stayed at this hotel on 16 and 17 March 2013, which is very good: the rooms are furnished with very modern style, breakfast is more than abundant: hot brioche, fresh bread, french fries, omelets, centrifuge and those who have more. I particularly emphasize the availability and warmth of the owners. In short, I recommend this hotel to all those who decide to go to Belgium, arriving at Challeroi airport (which is about 20 km from the hotel) and not to rent a car. This is what I did that weekend: booked with ryanair, booked with car always booked on the internet and the hotel.
