On arrival appeared like a hostel. However once in at reception we were greeted by warm and friendly staff. Pleasant surprise with provision of complimentary cake, cookies, fruit and sweets, together with hot drinks and water. Rooms in basement floor with air con and pretty quiet. Although we had two rooms only one had a fridge in. We didn't mention during our visit as it wasn't a problem. It was avoid half hour plus walk into Grand Place from the hotel and uphill in places on way back. Shops and Mcds round corner from hotel if you want. Although parts of areas surrounding hotel looked run down and bit dodgy, we felt safe and didn't see or hear any issues. Overall a good stay with decent bed, clean, small bathroom and reasonably priced.
