B&B Die Alte Scheune

We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown around the amazing barn conversion. Downstairs is the communal kitchen where you can help yourself to tea and coffee. In the fridge there is beer and soft drinks, you just make a note of anything you use. This leads out onto a raised deck that looks out to the wind farms in Germany. We had the room upstairs to the left. There was a generous double bed, modern bathroom with shower, above which was a mezzanine sleeping area. It would be best for an older child as it’s quite a steep ladder to access it. There is also a small double sofa bed. Between the two upstairs rooms is a social/play area with toys and games. Breakfast was fresh, simple and all that was needed. I hadn’t read my booking confirmation properly as it is cash only, although the cash machine is only a five minute drive away. After I realised I hadn’t taken any photographs which is such a shame as some I have seen do it no justice at all. It is beautifully done.
