We had a great stay at one of the Apartements of the B&B. The house and therefore the rooms are very small but clean and the beds are VERY comfortable! From the B&B you are in the city center in 5 minutes. The breakfast is in the very cute Osteria. They serve real italian coffee;) and a selection of crossiants, bread, different jams, muesli and ham and salami.
If you have difficulties with stairs it might not be the best place to stay. Also the walls are a little thin, so you can hear somethings from downstairs or the little street (it wasn‘t bothering us at all)! We would come again!

Small, clean perfectly located B&B with great breakfast

Stayed here while at a conference in Brussels, it was very cosy and comfortable and staff were really friendly. Location was great with 10 mins walk to the station and 5 minutes from the Grand Place.

Would be nice to have drink making facilities in your room. Was quite basic and some bits looked like they were still in the doing-up process e.g. cover not on bathroom light, shower head adjuster broken so wouldn't stay in one place.Steep stairs and wooden floors meant quite a bit of noise from other rooms. Although the room was safe and I didn't have a problem, as a female travelling on her own it did feel a bit disconcerting sharing a block with 2 other rooms and there being no contact with the owners after the restaurant down the street closed - there's no front of house where the rooms actually are and it was simply just a block with 3 bedrooms. Wifi was free but one night it went down at about 11 and as the restaurant was closed there was no one to contact. 

Breakfast was hit and miss, the girl was lovely who was in the cafe and, although pastries were freshly baked sometimes they were a bit under cooked, but the effort was nice and there was a good choice considering how small the place is. 

Didn't like that it was pay in cash at the restaurant down the street - obviously it was all legit but seems a bit suspicious when a man on the street tells you to pay in the restaurant and follows you in and you're expected to pay him hundreds of euros and him just hand keys over. Why not have card in this day and age or use booking.com to pay through like most other places?

Comfortable but basic

The room is small, there are electric loose cables and it could be cleaner. Although the room was renovated, with good water shower, it is very warm at the winter and has a very comfortable bed. If you have heavy suitcases, you'll have problems in the deep and strait stairs. Breakfast is fine but, if you go after 9h30, probably you will no longer have croissants or chocolate bread. They do not replace the pastry, even if they serve breakfast until 10h30. Stuff was nice and helpful. The place is very good located, close to the bourse and Grand place and you can walk to the train station (12 min). Internet works well and TV has many channels. The stairs make a lot of noise and you can hear a lot the noise from other rooms. Although, since it is a small house, you can get luck with the other guests. We did not have noise problems. And it is a very quite small street.

Nice bed and location

I visited Brussels last weekend and took the opportunity to stay at La Petite Maison, a real small house close to La Petite Eclipse, managed by the same owners of the restaurant at the end of the street.
The "house" is flanders traditional, with steep stairs, a dining room, a kitchen, a small parlor, a bathroom and the of course a bedroom. 
Very nice and, as I said, traditional.
Unfortunately the wi-fi connection didn't work in all the house.
As far as the bedroom is concerned, we noticed that there isn't a chair or something to put clothes and other things on.
The staff is kind and can speak your language (english, french, italian).

Very nice, flanders style

Breakfast was good. Pastries were great. Juices, tea, coffee, ham and cheese, boiled eggs, bread rolls, corn flakes and coco pops all available. 

Stayed in no 7, ground floor. Bed was super comfy as were the pillows.
Door to the bathroom is down a floor, the stairs are steep and I feel a warning should be there maybe. There was a loose tile, the vent needed a bit of doing up but regardless the shower was fabulous. 
Had a slight issue with the TV and Wi-Fi but mentioned this to the owner who was in the restaurant on the corner and he came over and had them fixed within 20 minutes. 

Would Def recommend this place. It's location is great - close to grand place and the metro stations 10 mins away. 
Staff were nice, and one girl working Friday 18th went above and beyond when we asked about trains to bruge.
