They are terrible, not hospitable, dirty, filthy and I will never recommend anyone to this hotel. Not coming again. Non cooperative, insane, unkind crazy staff. No one bother your compliant. They are really bad.

Super dirty.
There were hair everywhere and it’s not recommended to walk barefoot in your own room, because it’s to dirty.

Also, it didn’t have a blind. 
The bathroom is disgusting, everything is broken and the sink and shower are clogged.
If you want stay in the shared room, maybe would worth it for the prices. But the private room it’s to disgusting for the price.

Too dirty

Terrible experience in this hostel; really bad customer service and receptionist with bad attitude, not willing to help at all! I had a bad experience and asked for refund after cancelation and were not willing to help, even after booking sent them multiple messages. Not helpful at all if you are traveling by yourself, not customer centric. Do not recommend! 

Worst Customer Experience

Terrible location, Guests are homeless have terrible smells, and cannot sleep also the toilets sink doesn’t work. I inquired the receptionist he said can’t do anything due to the hostel installations being too old. AVOID!

Horribleness experience

Booked and paid . Was surprised to receive confirmation stating they would not accomodate anyone over 40 years old, confirmed by check in staff on arrival who were happy to take my money and not refund it, but not accomodate me. AVOID these descrimatory thieves! EU services directive 2004/113 bans age descrimination. Imagine if they decided not to accommodate women, LGBT or specific racial or religious groups?

This hostel has a bad drainage issue! It smells gross everywhere, especially in the bathrooms. We had to move rooms because of it, but the second room was just as bad. The hallways and the rooms have air freshener pots everywhere, so they obviously know about the problem. Felt unsafe in the local area, it was very noisy both inside and outside the hostel and the walls are incredibly thin too so you get woken up all the time. Our window didn’t shut. The private rooms are dark and dingy. There was hair on the bed, and the towels are thin and threadbare. The staff were friendly - only positive!

Smells horrendous

The hostel was calm, clean and the staff was really kind ans helpfull. The rooms are clearly affordable and confortable.
Only point is some smells in the rooms ..
The location is really cool with lot of good restaurants and not far from nothing (everithing is possible by foot)

Hostel very welcoming and kind staff

We stayed in the triple room with private bathroom. Our entrance light was burnt out, and with only 2 small lights it would've been really nice to have. As other reviews state, it is quite dark in the room. We ran out of shower gel, we went downstairs and they quickly provided us with a new one. It stank in the bathroom constantly. 

Location: Close to Gare du Midi. We read other reviews regarding the area so made sure to be back to the hostel before it got to late. I was with my husband but as a female during the day and evening I feel you would be safe to walk since there's lots of people around. Can't speak to later than 9pm.

Beyond Basic Room

First of all, the location is not ideal.. Although it's really close to the city center, it's in a sketchy part of town.. There was no cleaning the whole 3 days we were there, they didn't offer anything as a bathmat so after one person had a shower the bathroom floor would be all wet and you have to pay 2€ for a tiny towel..

It was okay but I won't go back for sure

I was here for 2 nights, and the rooms were damp and cold. I couldn't shut the window properly and there was mold in the corner. Noisy in the hallway and really thin walls. I had to pay for a towel, 2 euros per night. Don't expect much.
