Completely magical. This was a return visit for us to the Huis Konig and Lynn could not have done more. The place was beautiful  and everywhere you looked there were extra special touches that really made our stay. From homemade bread and jam at breakfast to telling us about walking tours and baked goods at the end of the day. Just perfect. We loved every minute.

You’ll not find a more comfortable accommodation nor a more delicious breakfast nor a more charming hostess than  the ones you’ll find at Huis Honing in Bruges. Located along a canal in the “old city”, the home is tucked into a quiet location near walkable streets and restaurants. We arrived by train and enjoyed the half-hour walk with our carry-on bags. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, made to order, along the beautiful canal. Lynn King, the owner and your hostess, is a former restaurateur who serves up delicious pastries and other breakfast staples with ease. She also provides advice on local restaurants, attractions, and other points of interest. You’ll feel right at home in Lynn’s home. We highly recommend her lovely home for a stay when planning a trip to Bruges.

Best of the best B & B!

My wife and I stepped into a fairytale, a storybook for our 1st wedding anniversary during our 2 nights stay at Huis Koning. This felt like "home" where we could spend the rest of our lives. Lynn is such a welcoming, friendly, and wonderful person. She is extremely hands-on, hard working person who loves her job and went out of her way to welcome us with a personalized note alongside a bottle of red wine. The B&B is located perfectly within the old city alongside a beautiful canal. You'd by lucky if you find availability for your preferred dates. During our 15 days "trip of a lifetime" across European destinations, this was hands down our best couple of nights in the wonderful city of Bruges (Brugge).

Stepping into a fairytale

We enjoyed a lovely, friendly welcome with beverages and a snack when we arrived. Each day we woke to freshly baked homemade pastries, along with perfectly made eggs, fresh juice, and great coffee. The best way to start the day ever! The room was quiet, nicely furnished, modern, yet charming. Very comfortable bed. Lynn, Huis Koning's proprietor, has the very highest standards. A perfect 4 day stay! We also appreciated her restaurant suggestions. We would definitely stay here again.

First of all, everything positive we had read about Huis Koning was accurate. This B&B is well situated for easy access to all that Bruge has to offer. Our room was welcoming, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Located along a candle, there is a very restful patio to enjoy in the afternoon. A quiet and peaceful place to rest before dinner. But the best thing about Huis Koning is the host, Lynn. She creates such a welcoming atmosphere that my wife and so much enjoyed. The breakfast she provides was a highlight of our day. I would highly recommend Huis Koning to anyone traveling to Bruge who wants something more than a hotel experience. 

The best stay of our vacation

Rooms are stunning, clean and well cared for. Host is so nice! you feel immediately welcome. Breakfast was amazing! I have recommended this B&B to everyone we know, and we definitely want to come back! 

The Best!

Once again we have spent a fabulous weekend in Bruges made even more special by staying at Huis Koning.  We have stayed at many B&Bs over the years in different locations but nothing can match this beautiful home. From the pretty exterior on a cobblestone close to the heart of Bruge, backing onto the canal , to the welcome  by Lynn on arrival with a drink, homemade nibbles and being given maps and a guide book to help you with exploring the area.  The rooms are beautifully maintained and very comfortable… we have stayed in them all! Each one as lovely as the next.  After a long day exploring Bruges you return to your room to find “ a little something “ homemade by Lynn which is always a delight.  This is not just a B&B, it’s another level, it’s home from home and we have no hesitation in recommending Huis Koning.

Fabulous location; an exquisite house with luxurious accommodation and a warm, informative hostess, who set us off on our way each morning with an excellent walking guide and a delicious breakfast. 
My daughter and I cannot speak highly enough of our time at Huis Koning.   We had the perfect mini-break.

We could want for nothing more!

Wow,  what an incredibly beautiful B and B. Lynn pays attention to the small details and goes to so much effort to make you feel welcome. Her breakfasts are amazing and she bakes the bread and other delights fresh each day. It is just a few minutes walk from the market place so the ideal location to explore Bruges from.
Lynn recommended some excellent places including 27Bflat Jazz bar and Spegelaere chocolate shop which was ideal as there are so many places to choose from.
I was a bit disappointed by the Christmas Markets but the B and B, cafes, restaurants, historic buildings and shops made up for it! 
We would love to return soon :-)

A beautiful, perfect and welcoming place to enjoy Bruges from

We stayed 2 nights in De Kelk room which is in the highest level of the townhouse.  It's well worth the climb up the winding stairs!  The room is very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom is huge with a great shower.  The linens/towels are excellent quality.  It's very quiet which makes for great sleeping.

Breakfast was amazing both days and you can have a freshly cooked egg in addition to all of the cheese, cold cuts, pastries.  The coffee is great.

We arrived early and wanted to drop our bags, having checked the day prior if that would be OK our room was ready which was amazing.  We ate at 2 of the recommended restaurants and both were really good.

It's easy to walk to the tourist sights in Bruges from here.
