B&B Vallis Dyliae

For one night on September 16th, and after a very friendly welcome from the owner, we took possession of the very beautiful Professor's room on the first floor with a view of the surrounding countryside, the room is large, with separate bathroom and toilet. The tones are sweet, the mattress is very comfortable. After a good night, we had a wonderful breakfast: cup of fresh leaks: strawberry, melon, frankincense myrrh and grapes. A glass of fresh orange juice was accompanied by a nice platter of charcuterie, cheese, several kinds of bread, the wineries are excellent. It is a very beautiful address.

Nice room and great breakfast

Quiet B&B off the beaten track in a small-holding with chickens and pasture for cows (returning in the Spring). Separate building available for parties and special occasions. Patrick the owner (now living on his own) was very welcoming. Worked for US company so had excellent English as well as Flemish and French.

Very large room with comfortable bed and facilities one would normally only expect in a hotel. Wooden floor so rather cold on arrival, but good heating. Cosy sitting room on ground floor with bar. Excellent breakfast in separate room also on ground floor. Expensive for a B&B.

Very comfortable B&B off the beaten track with plenty of off-road parking

I stay at Vallis Dyliae twice per year when I travel from the U.S. to Zaventemen, Belgium for business.  Cathy Goosen, the owner of Vallis Dyliae is a superb hostess - always making you feel welcome to her place, which is spotlessly clean, with warm, "homey" rooms.  Her breakfast offerings are amazing - delicious local chesses and meats, fresh squeezed O.J., and a delicous bowl of fruit.  In the evenings, she has an "honor bar", but is also enthusiastic to spend time with you talking over a glass of wine.  I really do recommend this place, especially to business men who want to be just a little bit outside the city (this B&B is 4 miles south-southwest of Leuven).  Good restaurants are less than 10 minutes from the B&B

Wonderful B&B with a Warm, Accommodating Owner

This b&b is a real gem. The house is beautiful and the rooms are tasteful decorated. It's like you're in a cottage at the english countryside. Cathy is a perfect host and the breakfast was superb. Good and plenty cheese, delicious paté, eggs and bacon, fresh fruit, fresh juice. It was plenty and it was excellent. Definitely recommend this place between Leuven and Brussels. Especially in the summer, when you can enjoy a glas if wine in their garden. 

Wonderful b&b 

I travel internationally about 6 months of the year. Needless to say hotels are hotels. What a delight to find Vallis Dyliae near Lueven. We were greeted by the owner Cathy with a warm smile and a nice drink. The rooms in her B&B are spacious, nicely decorated, plenty of plug ins for those with many devices. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfasts are based on your eating preference and nicely done. When you stay at the Vallis Dyliae you feel like your staying at your best friends house. The hosts are kind, friendly, fun and well informed as to local restaurants, and events. 
I look forward to my next stay....

Excellent Stay

This B&B is located very far away on the outskirts of a small village in the middle of the country. However, you can get to Brussels in about 25 minutes by car. The rooms are very stylishly furnished with country-style wood furniture. TV and Internet access (WiFi and cable) work perfectly. There is the possibility to have an aperitif outside on the terrace in the evening and make the day sound comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with a large selection of sausage, cheese and jam. On request, a fried egg is also served. A large bowl of fresh fruit will round this greatly. So whoever does not have the opportunity should visit the B&B Vallisut Dye in any case.

Exquisite B&B with friendly hostess

We arrived to Vallis Dyliae directly from Brussels airport. Mrs Cathy, the owner, had been a perfect hostess to us  and made us feel like home from the first moment. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, so nicely furnished and  decorated in country style. Mrs Cathy, provided a welcome
drink of local sparkling wine and beer at a small but very cosy lobby. She helped us with our
dinner reservation, and we had a very nice chat in a family atmosphere. Next morning, after a
very nice sleep she gave us a superb breakfast at her kitchen. Fresh juice, a ball with berries, a
variety of very good quality cheese and ham, nice selection of teas, croissant etc, all impeccably
served in one  table common for all the quests (for this small hotel has only 5 rooms).
The whole experience provided us much  positive energy to start the day.
