Maxwell Beach Villas

Maxwell Beach Villas was perfectly located for us, being a small walk to Oistins and its bars and restaurants and a slightly longer one in the other direction to St Lawrence Gap, where some of the more touristy larger bars and restaurants are. Buses/Taxi buses stop directly out the front, making it easy to go further afield into Bridgetown. The photos on their website accurately show what you get in each apartment and in most cases don’t do the wonderful view justice. Yonette the Villa Manager, is a really lovely person, super professional and a credit to the Owners she represents. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Andrew who does the resort maintenance is a real character, that put a smile on our faces daily and always happy to chat. The apartments are a great size, well cleaned and perfectly appointed. The garden is beautifully maintained and so tranquil, with a perfectly sized pool, which is meticulously clean and always a lovely temperature to jump into. The beach was perfect and very quiet, so we had it ourselves most times we went for a stroll. Morning dips, just floating around became quite addictive. We also hired a car on our third week, so the garage provided a nice cool place to park it. The only thing to mention is that it is on a main road, that can sometimes get very busy, but it quietens down towards the evening, so it didn’t bother us at all. We miss this place immensely and definitely look forward to returning to stay here when we are next holidaying in Barbados.
