Peace and Plenty Resort

You have to have realistic expectations about this island. This is a 3 Star Hotel that can easily become 4 with a few small changes.Changes: slightly friendly front desk assistance, working stove at the cottages, working fan in living room at cottages. ability to charge to your room while being at the Beach Club. We weee staying at the cottages but had to have our Credit / Debt Card to close out tabs each individual day.The breeze was great but it would have been nice for the big fan to work. Fan and AC in the room worked great.We were told that renovations were going on at the Cottages at Stocking Island but the pictures are the same online as they have been for a year. No worries , feel slightly mislead but it’s ok. This is still a better place to stay than most and staying on Stocking Island with minimal people at night was a must for this trip.Staff is friendly but the star of the show is the Bell Hop with the deep voice and both Boat Drivers.they weee all extremely nice and welcoming. Willing to drop off and pick up outside or normal boat / ferry hours. Never seemed to wait more than 29 minutes to catch a ride to and trim stocking island.They all made for an amazing experience. We will come back but hope for actual renovations on sticking island.
