Do not expect too much from the hotel, it is right in the middle of being refurbished. We spent a couple of nights there after a week at sea. The marina is convenient for the supermarket and other stores, and the pool is very welcome on a hot day. Very handy for laundry and other essentials but best of staying on the boat rather than in the hotel. The restaurant is adequate, although better places are available in the town just a short walk or taxi ride away - depending on what you are after. Cost is fair compared to other marinas (everything in Nassau is massively expensive), so you are better on a mooring once all your essentials are dealt with, where it can be cooler in the prevailing South-Easterly breeze.

This is a wonderful, well-located marina. The amenities are great (laundry, pool, pool bar) and staff are all very responsive and friendly. The facilities are very well maintained and you are right across the street from a very good shopping center

Wonderful place

DO NOT STAY IN THE HOTEL ROOMS. Discovered at midnight that our room was infested with bed bugs. They were every where. And when we got security we were asked to “stay there tonight and we will deal with it in the morning”. No chance. We were left without a place to sleep at midnight with staff who only cared enough to get us to stop bothering them. We asked to speak with management in the morning and they never showed up. Everything about the staffs demeanor suggested they were going to do nothing to rectify the issue and they just wanted us out of their hair. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $30 to stay somewhere with standards. It’s not worth it.

Pick a different hotel

I started my Blackbeard's liveaboard cruise here. The pool area is very nice. The public restroom and shower is really welcome after 6 days at sea with minimal shower water. The staff is very helpful. I do not know about the rooms because I didn't stay here.

Stayed 1 night after a weeklong stay on a sailboat.  The cramped sailboat was much better than the room.  There were a few flies in the room and the room stank of must.   The water pressure was super low, the shower head let out even less water.  The toilet would almost never flush anything not liquid and took forever to fill.  We had to slowly fill the bathroom garbage pail with water from the tub to even get a flush in less than 30 minutes.  
The TV was possessed, turning on and off randomly.  The pool area is nice, but the rest of the outside area looked like a construction zone, but no-one was ever working on it.

Run down, low quality

I stayed here before boarding a liveaboard. The ONLY reason I did was due to convenience but in the future, I will stay elsewhere. This place is a dump. Hair on the bedsheets and pillows, mold in the rooms, and don't get me started on the roaches I killed all night.  Room was dirty, water pressure was non existent and the toilets are gross.  I'm surprised the health dept hasn't shut them down.

Cheap hotel but you get what you pay for

We stayed on the Blackbeard Sea Explorer Liveaboard. We were supposed to travel to Eleuthera, however, engine problems dictated that we spent the entire week moored at the marina. Having nice, warm showers and clean toilets was a luxury. The pool is small, but refreshing. We were able to store suitcases in a secured room. 

Whenever we visit Nassau by boat, we always stay at the Nassau Harbour Club. The is a great grocery store across the street, just past Starbucks. Peter is extremely helpful and the staff is great. We will return there again soon.

Nice Marina convenient location

It was a little difficult booking this room as no one at first would return my emails.  I went through Blackbeard dive boat and got a response.  The price was very good for Nassau, where dumps are going for over $100/night.  Internet was spotty, had to get near the office to work.  Lots of construction going on but that is temporary.  
they had a nice pool and right on the harbour.  good location as there is a shopping center right across the street. and the bus stop is very close.

Nice room, nice folks, good location priced right

My wife and I live on our boat, and we've spent the last 7 months cruising around the Bahamas. We've been in and out of Nassau at least 10 times, usually to pick up or drop off guests who fly in from the US. We've spent almost all of our marina time in Nassau at NHC, and we just keep coming back. Peter, the manager, is simply wonderful. Craig, Dwayne, and Dudley on the docks are helpful and friendly. Teresa and the rest of the office staff are, too - but we don't have as much interaction with them.

Directly across the street is the Solomon's Fresh Market grocery store, as well as a bank, a liquor store, as well as a dozen or more different retail stores. Four marine supply stores and a dive shop are within a 10 minute walk.

The docks aren't in fantastic shape, but they're quite usable. They're currently doing some repairs on them, and are doing a major rehab of the once-beautiful bar and restaurant that are in the same building (same owners). Power and water at the docks is reliable.
