17 reviewsIlgar was one of the pioneers in tourism in Sheki. Staying at his place is like doing a homestay -- it's an authentic Azerbaijan experience. If you prefer a standard hotel, this is not the place for you. Ilgar was excellent with helping us co-ordinate the rest of our trip in Azerbaijan, arranging for car-and-driver from Baku to Sheki via Lahich. He's a busy guy but took time to chat with us over breakfast about Azerbaijan. He cares very much about developing sustainable tourism for his country that gives back to the locals.
