34 reviewsstaff are friendly--front desk could always manage the english basics. special shout out to frank managing the hammam in the basement. great guy. speaking of, decent massage on offer. breakfast personnel always willing to go above and beyond--served a large and varied breakfast each morning with ample chai. and the views! oh my. buffet on the last day as a tour group booked in, otherwise it was table service. no complaints! my 8th floor room looked brand new, but closer inspection showed the materials to be lesser quality than initial appearances suggested. no surprise though. large walk-in shower with immediate hot water. wifi is average in the room, but strong at the ground level. decent size market shop across the street and within walking distance of everything. taxis always available on the corner and there's a small kebab shop across the main road. perfectly quiet at night and comfortable and i slept very well. highly recommend the tebriz! beware--american credit cards don't work in azerbaijan. at least mine didn't, even with advance notice. the hotel has an ATM in the lobby just in case.
