Hotel zum Landrichter

The Wolfsberg is a charismatic old town in Carinthia and the Hotel zum Landrichter is an absolutely right place to stay there for a night or two. The hotel is situated on the way to the castle and is overlooking the charming and beautifully restored town. The manager is outstanding, friendly and eager to cater to all your wishes. Rooms have saunas and are furnished with gusto preserving the atmosphere full of antiquity with wooden beams exposed. The bed is old fashioned with traditional (?) two blankets across the bed. Each blanket seems to have life of its own during the night and unless you are used to two blankets across you may find yourself without any blanket at all. After saying this I must admit that we enjoyed enormously the day and the night in this hotel and recommend it highly to all visitors.
