The key was stored as discussed, so check-in at 2am was no problem, the room was small but clean, staff friendly and helpful, perfect for a quick, cheap, uncomplicated overnight stay.

Simplified and flexible

Very proper room. Nice living room corner with very welcoming sofa. Good bed. We just slept there but the impression was good. Very proper and very complete lunch. Fresh bread, real fruit juices, very good quality cheeses and complete offerings of cereals, dairy products. The style of the hotel is from the beginning of the century but the rooms are spacious and the bathroom is very well equipped. Our room had a shower and bathtub with very good taste.

If not imperial, at least royal

Large but old room, small bed, obsolete furniture dating back to at least the 1960s, mit-eaten curtain, TV only in German and balcony strewn with cigarette butts.

Average benefit

Very large room but with a bed and a desk which makes a cold atmosphere. Street side room very noisy from 6:30 a.m. no climate. Standard lunch without Viennese food...a full! Hotel good for one night step. We paid 99€ with little deej' for 4 adults which is the rate, but without a discount on the initial rate (280€) it would be very, very excessive.

Mea culpa...what else can I say? whoever decides to stay overnight in a 4 star German hotel knows that he probably won't find himself really drowned in comfort: a large, quiet room (not thanks to Carlo Cudega's door) and moderately clean, but without a refrigerator, with a historic carpet placed a little everywhere and with only two cranks?! The heating is not adjustable and on my arrival I found a window wisely open to balance the carpet effect.

Clean casement

I mean, if it wasn't for a four-star hotel, it would be on average. We were on a group trip one night with dinner at this hotel. In the room there was nothing to say: large, clean, bath with sink. But the dinner... we had a Milanese woman with fries and rice pilaff plus something for vegetarians... we arrived at 7:00, we asked to serve dinner for 20:00, and here's the first insurmountable problem: dinner was already ready! After a long insistence we moved to 20:00, hot and hard biscuits like soles, very dry potatoes, fried rice.

It's a beautiful room, a terrible kitchen.

I'm passing by, I booked a room in this hotel for 90€ for lack of a better one, it says I arrive then in a tiny room with a small bed. It can happen to have a small bed but it doesn't have 90€ even at the Ibis budget it's bigger for 45€ in addition to that, no wifi access in the rooms, which is pretty outrageous when you pay for a room at that price. The hotel has four stars. It's not one. It seems to me that to show such rates there should be the right offer. We're here in Wels, not downtown London or Paris.

It's definitely not worth $90

The hotel is definitely dated and would need a nice restoration, it is located above a kind of theater that at certain times brings a considerable flow of people who pour into the bar to consume beer...because to get into the bar you have to go through the hotel!!!!! In front of the Television there are some sad garden chairs (in the sense that they would also be tristi in the garden, in a kind of sweet German moisture).
