A holiday in Winter wonderland! Everything is beautifully covered with snow and lake almost all frozen. Walchsee is a small village but so beautiful ! Our Host, Bernardette went out of her way for us. She is very nice, friendly, very helpful and speak excellent English. Sent us information beforehand by email - maps, restaurants and activities of the area. Even informed us of high mountain road snow conditions on the day of our arrival. Chalet is very cosy, romantic and warm even though the snow outside. Big bath too. Beds hard to get out of. We wish we could stay longer. The one bedroom chalet had everything; perhaps a spare toilet upstairs would have been ideal. The bakery and restaurants all nearby. Location is excellent and the town is lovely in the snow. Looking forward to staying again. Ideal Location for winter – every morning the bulldozer cleared the snow from the parking area and the paths to the chalets. Once Bernardette and her staff helped us push our car when we got stuck in the snow! Very helpful. Have already recommended the Chalets to my friends.
