This lovely hotel is placed quite close to the slopes, just a couple of steps from the free Skibus that will drive you anywhere within minutes.

It’s simple, but very clean and organized. The staff is more than willing to help and will go up and down to make sure you are happy with your stay. 

The spa is very well maintained and very conveniently placed. Same goes for the ski basement. 

There is heaps of space to organize your own activities unbothered and they actually have a lot going on as well!

We stayed at this hotel while on a National holidays trip. Our room appeared to face a wall but we only had to look either left or right to see wonderful views.We had a spacious balcony which we were able to open to include our friend in the next room. We were warmly welcomed as we arrived and at dinner. The young lady who seated us for our first evening, Reka, looked after us throughout our stay. Food was plentiful, varied and fresh as well as being well cooked. 
The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. A real bonus was being able to control the heating in the room which is not the case in all hotels. Windows that opened fully is also another positive. Beds were comfortable too. 
All of the staff were lovely. They managed to be very efficient while maintaining a pleasant manner and displaying good humour.
Although this was not in the hotel's control, we did see some snowflakes on our last day!
Usually at the end of a holiday, I am ready to return home but I have to say that I was very sad to be leaving this delightful hotel. Being waved off early in the morning by Reka and Elizabeth made us all feel that we would be returning as soon as we could.

We've just returned from a summer holiday (via Tui). Overall, the hotel was very good (with a couple of issues, see below). The food is buffet style and great for kids. At dinner, there's always some salad, pasta, chips, along with different mains per day. No lunch but you can pack a lunch at breakfast time (bags are provided).

Facilities-wise, there's a nice little pool in the basement with some saunas nearby. Also a table tennis table but we didn't try this. Not much else.

In the summer, you get a free summer card which gives you free daily access to the nearby Water World, and small discounts in various places (and 1 euro bus rides). It's worth getting the 5 for 7 gondola ticket online for the Flying Mozart etc, you need to get this from the Snow Space website and it's the cheapest option even with the summer card discount. Lots of great hikes from the tops of the gondolas.

Now the negatives. The location of the hotel is in Kirchboden which is up on a hill above Wagrain "proper". If you go down into Wagrain then it's a hefty climb back up unless you're fortunate enough to sync with the free bus. The hotel is near the Water World and the Flying Mozart, but the Grafenberg gondola is down in Wagrain itself. Otherwise, it was very hot when we were there and the rooms have no aircon or fan (which is fine), meaning during the night we wanted to keep the balcony door open to get some airflow going. However, people can smoke on the balconies (just not in the rooms) which was a major pain. Finally, the wifi isn't great in rooms (much better in the dining area).

Overall, we had a great time, many thanks to everyone in the hotel.

Breakfast superb and you have all you need to get ready for the slopes - only comment is the dinner where it is a bit to fancy vs the audiens (Would have been better with a buffet or simple austria food)
But for sure a hotel I will use again and recommend

We spent a week in an apartment in Hsu’s Peregrinations, located next to the hotel. It was partly renovated this season and the kitchen has been renovated. 100 meters to the free ski-bus and possible to ski home directly from the slope. Unfortunately they didn’t manage to fix the WiFi during the week. Good location, and absolutely ok apartment.

Ok stay in apartment 

Wonderful from start to finish

If you are looking for a Genuine Austrian experience, give this Hotel a miss. It has absolutely no Austrian charm or atmosphere at all.
Sadly, it's run by Mono Chrome staff, most of whom are from Scandinavia with little or no charm at all.
The Dining experience is more canteen like,  you have to Q on the stairs until the  staff unlock the dining room door! Then stand in another Q for main courses. The staff are not attentive,  wandering around pole faced. Some can't take a drinks order in German! The food is acceptable but nothing outstanding. 
The Spa facilities could be enhanced by the hotel if it provided towels for the Sauna area.
The room domestic staff require a good talking too, leaving used drinks glasses for a couple of days in the room doesn't look good. 
Another thing to note is that no cash payments are accepted. 
It is certainly in a Quiet part of town , that's for sure.
So, if you looking for a Hotel with Zero Austrian atmosphere, no Apres ski, dull, this the place for you!
