Gästehaus Hosp

I stayed here for just one night whilst traveling around Germany - we decided to visit the Austrian Alps. It wasn't enough as it turned out. I rented a car to go there and when we were 10 minutes from our guesthouse I got a flat tire!! It was 6.30pm and I had no 'AA rescue' number. There was no spare tire in the rental car - just a tire sealant, which made no impact on the big hole in my tire. As luck would have it, a man was parked beside who knew the lady who owns the guesthouse. He rang her and said she would pick me up, which she did promptly. The following morning her husband drove me to my car, brought the wheel to a garage and put the new wheel on the car for me. What was potentially a disaster really showed me how good some people are (I had two kids with me so didn't fancy being stuck somewhere). In terms of the accommodation itself, the guesthouse is simply lovely in a stunning location. The double bed was massive - both children ended up sleeping in it with me. The mattress and pillows were lovely and firm. In my two weeks of traveling through Germany, this was the best breakfast we had - everything was fresh and the owner is really lovely and friendly and has perfect English. It's beside the ski slopes so I will definitely return and spend more time here, either in summer or winter.
