This was our second night during our trip, we visited the salzkagermut area. The service was great, the lady who greeted us was very nice and the room was pretty.

Bu the best part was the breakfast and the wodnerful view!! I was breathtaking. Fron the breakfast room we can see the mountains and a beautiful lake.

LOVED IT!!!
I will go back for sure!!

We stayed here during a recent walking holiday, when the hotel was almost empty. I'd like to say that was why it had no atmosphere but I'm not sure...The reception lady was a bit scary. I tried to take a map onyl to be informed 'No, that's a map of Bad Ischl' (very helpful when you're staying in Unterach). There was also no food or beer...not good after a day's walking (particularly not in Austria, when there seems to be food everywhere!). The towels were wafer thin but everything was clean. The breakfast wasn't up to much, and it was the same lady serving. I was too scared to ask for more tea. I am a fan of the Shining, but I don't necessarily want to stay in the hotel. I won't be going back. We found a great little cafe in the village though (DorfCafe) run by a lovely couple. I would happily go back there!

4 éjszakát töltöttünk el itt 2 szobában öten. Az egyik fürdőszobában a fűtés folyamatosan ment (jelzem, augusztusról van szó!), és ezt a problémát többszöri kérés ellenére sem oldották meg. A szobákban nincs hűtő, még minibár sem, légkondi szintúgy. A WiFi csak a recepció és a lépcső környékén használható, a szobákban egyáltalán nem. Több konnektor is elférne a szobákban, értelmesebb helyeken, szúnyogháló szintén.
A reggeli lehetett volna változatosabb. Az asztalra kitett, kizárólag német nyelvű kis papíron kellett választani vacsorát, de a leves majdnem ugyanaz volt mindennap, ráadásul csak a főétel volt választható. Az egyik felszolgáló egyáltalán nem beszélt angolul, ami nem könnyítette meg a rendelést, és a kedvességével is voltak problémák. Érkezéskor azt az információt kaptuk, hogy 18:30-tól 19 óráig van vacsora. Ehhez képest 19 óra előtt nem hozták ki még a levest se, de amikor egyszer a kirándulás miatt 19:40 körül értünk oda, nagy kegyesen voltak csak hajlandóak kiszolgálni. A főételek minőségével nem volt gond, de néha furcsa ételek közül lehetett csak választani.
A falu nincs messze, de meredek úton érhető csak el a szálloda. A közeli templom órája éjszaka is zavarja a pihenést.
Pozitívum, hogy a tóra néző szobáinkból gyönyörű volt a kilátás.

5 of us spent 4 nights here in 2 rooms. In one of the bathrooms, the heating was constantly turned on (note: this was in August!), and this problem was not solved despite multiple requests. There is no refrigerator in the rooms, not even a minibar, air conditioning is missing too. You can't connect to the WiFi in the rooms, only near the reception and the stairwell. More power outlets and some mosquito nets would be useful as well.
The breakfast could have been more various. We had our options for dinner on a small paper, but only in German. The soup was almost the same every day, and you could only choose the main course. One of the waitresses did not speak English at all which did not make ordering any easier. She also could have been nicer. Upon arriving we were given the information that dinner is from 6:30pm to 7pm. We sat there for 30 minutes and never even got the soup before 7 pm, but once when we arrived a bit late (around 7:40pm) because of a trip, they were reluctant to serve us. The main courses were OK, but sometimes we couldn't really decide between a weird meal and an even weirder one.
The village is not really far, but the road leading there is very steep. The clock of the nearby church can disrupt a good sleep.
On the positive side, we had our rooms with lake view and the panorama was gorgeous everytime.

Szép kilátás, a többi felejthető / Nice view, the rest is forgettable

I stayed here for only one night. 
The owner is really creepy and it seemed like she couldn't care less about the guests. 
She didn't smile at all. 
But the room was clean and with a nice balcony. 
The breakfast was not good - but I've seen worse. 
It has a very nice view from the reastaurant. But you were not allowed to eat outside, even though the weather was very good. 
If I should come back to this town again - I would pick another place. 

Wierd...

I'm not picky but this Hotel is definitely not something you should spend your holidays. The staff is superficial friendly, the breakfast is better at home, I had more than one time blood in my towels, every day discussions about the breakfast time, furniture is from 1950 and it looks to me that don't really want to run this Hotel.
Only  positive thing: good view
