Hotel Schneeweiss

Travelled with wife and small children aged 1,5 and 3,5 years. Baby cot provided in room as agreed. Fabulous pool and garden! OK room and facilities. Animals (cows, rabbits, goats, fishes, even deers) made it lovely for the small children. They enjoyed the outside playground too. Beautiful clean air, great view over the Attersee lake, lovely breakfast every morning with omlettes and hot chocolate upon request and unbeatable amount of stars at night. Beautiful setting. One waitress in particular - a young, black haired lady was the most hospitable, super kind. We enjoyed our stay and would consider returning. Bathroom - especially its ventillation - could deserve a little refurbishing, looking a little used. Electricity fence around animals not ideal for little children :-) Outside playground could be also refurbished a little, with a few little rusty nails sticking out here and there - not convinced of its safety. As it is a family run hotel, service capacity is limited, all family members work hard, and do their best which takes its toll on a few days with a few looking tired/worn to be kinder. We understood the hotel is not open in winter - which is a shame as we would have loved to see it in snow as well...
