Pension Thistle

Gill and George could not have been any more helpful both before and during our stay. We had the large apartment and an additional bedroom. We had a food bundle bought and ready. The apartment is on 3-floors; double bedroom on the ground, large bathroom with separate shower plus corner bath on the middle and a few steps to the quad room and kitchen/lounge area plus another toilet. The lounge has a large tv and DVD player (huge selection of English DVDs available) and two small sofas. The kitchen has an electric oven, dishwasher, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster plus kettle. Towels, tea towels and bed linen are provided. The only challenging part was which bin to use for recycling of some items. The place was very clean. Nothing was too much trouble for Gill and George. We would recommend this accommodation. Skiing We used the ski bus, 50-metres down the road. All buses work really well but if you have small children you may find this bit challenging and prefer to use taxis or hire a car. Taxis to Saalbach cost us about 30euros, one way.
