Park your car half way up the mountain, and take the cable car up to the peak where the hotel is situated. You're now high up the mountain, covered in snow, with the ski trails all around you. You can ski straight from the hotel lobby down the slopes, or connect to the ski lifts going even higher up the mountain. Dozens of kilometers of trails are accessible from here, and you can get unlimited ski lift access included in your hotel package. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are buffet style, the food is plenty and tasty. The wait staff are working hard, but are always friendly. Plenty of sitting spaces for drinks in the evening (nothing else to do when it's dark outside), but because everything needs to be transported up the mountain it's a bit pricey. The hotel has a magnificent spa area with various saunas, one of them with huge glass windows overlooking the snowy mountainsides. It's possible to book a cheese fondue evening in the separate cottage which is very charming.
