We are just back from a great New Year skiing break at the Das Schutz Hotel in Obertauern. It was just what we were looking for. Everyone was very friendly and the team made a really special effort for New Years Eve. The rooms were big, clean and well furnished. One really good point about the hotel was the easy access to the slopes with ski in and ski out available from directly across the (minor) road from the hotels ski locker. This is much better than some hotels in Obertauern who advertise ski in/out but you need to walk for five minutes to the slopes. We also liked the food which was excellent value and quality. The five course evening meals were a real treat. Happy to recommend this hotel.
