Our skiing adventure in Obertauern in December 2023 was absolutely unforgettable. Solaria Hotel, where we stayed, is situated right next to the slope. You only need to cross the street and a small bridge to immediately enjoy the winter fun. It’s the perfect place for ski enthusiasts who want easy and quick access to the slopes. The hotel owners are incredibly warm and welcoming people who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was friendly and cozy, and the hotel staff was impeccable – always helpful, smiling, and professional. This is undoubtedly one of the strongest assets of this place. The room was very comfortable and clean. The modern bathroom, tastefully designed, was not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional – perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. However, what deserves special mention is the cuisine. The meals served at the hotel were a true feast for the senses. After a full day on the slopes, we couldn’t wait to sit down and savor the delicious dishes. Each meal was carefully prepared with high-quality ingredients, and the flavors were exquisite. The cuisine at this hotel is a true gem that significantly enhances the comfort of the stay. Another highlight worth mentioning is the availability of parking spaces in a covered garage located near the hotel. This is an extremely convenient solution, especially in winter conditions. In summary, our week-long stay in Obertauern was full of wonderful experiences, and the Solaria Hotel played a key role in this. The excellent location, warm owners, great service, delicious food, and the availability of a free covered garage made us eager to return in the future. We highly recommend this hotel to all skiers looking for the perfect place for a winter vacation.
