HOTEL Urbani

Hotel Urbani makes you feel great no matter you are in your room, or in the spa area, or in the dining room. Seems everything is designed to please guests. Rooms are cosy, view of the lake magnificent, meals are very tasty and abundant, even if you come at the end. For lunch there is always a fish dish, a meat one and a vegetarian. The chef is especially good with pasta - tortelli with porcini were work of art. The service is exceptional, very swift, kind and available when you need them. The first time we were there was due to a discount they were giving, but this time we came without price reduction, so good they are. The position is great, few km to lovely skiing place Gerlitzen which stands out for its perfectly groomed pists, and 40 mins drive to Turracherhöhe and Badkleinkurcheim. A free bus which takes you to Gerlitzen is just across the street. A railway next to the hotel can take you inno time to Villach. 3 saunas with showers and a basin with a cold (very) water are separated from indoor pool with strongest massage streams I have ever experienced, which do wanders after all day of skiing. The only setback for me is that it is mandatory to be without bathing suits in spa area. I suppose that is why 90% are males . I guess that it should be arranged that one day is for nude lovers and one for others. In that way more guests would be able to enjoy this lovely spa.
