Im dont need much so this hotel is nice for me. Food is good, room is good to. Its 3 *** hotel so dont expect like you are in 4 or 5 * hotel. Me and my girl was most time outside looking for thing to see.

This 3 star Wellness Hotel is 

A) not 3 stars, but only 2 star 
B) not a wellness hotel, far from it (wellness parts not functioning, food is very tasty and Hungarian but very far from wellness 
C) I dont think this is a hotel, rather a pension or similar.

There is no air-conditioning in the hotel (they tell you this in advance) but if you think you can open windows, you are mistaken, because constant fat smell is coming up from the kitchen, so you have to keep windows closed. 

The rooms are extremely small (they dont tell you this in advance) and there is no fridge in the rooms or even in the corridors (you know it in advance).

Our room room was theoretically sold with lake view but you can see only very small parts of the lake, since there are buildings and sport place between the hotel and the lake. So it is not "lake side" hotel. 

The staff is nice, except the owners.

You cannot pay with cards they take only cash saying it costs them money to maintain bank payment possibilities. So you have to go to an ATM and take cash for commission.

Summary: their policy is they tell you the truth about air conditioning, and no fridge, but they suggest it is a 3 star hospitality unit. 

We never go back again, and if you do not want to spoil your holiday we do not recommend it. At all.

Never Again

The only bright thing was clean bathroom. The room was vacuum cleand but not as it should be. The ovner was tryng to be nice but on me he had a negativ effect. Wellnes ????? Not really.
Food....soups were very tasty and very hot every day, the rest of the food was lukewarm. Potatoe mostly cold. The hole week the same salads in the same boxes, the youghurt allso.
The left overs were  processed in to another dish the next day. Ski resort Gerlitzen was ok but Bad Kleinkirchheim is a better choice, only half an hour away.

way below 3 stars

It was supposed to be 3 star hotel but not by far for Austrian standards. Food was good, dont expect to get your room visited from cleaning crew any time soon, was worried i will have to go ask the reception for toilet paper. If they stuck you in a room with no room ask for a new one. Dont count on shutle to drive you to the ski slope, count on your own transport, besides its not that far away :-). Vegetarian food (luckily im not one) yes but dont expect too much .-). If you speak Hungaryian language its a win win :-).

Not what expected...

Nice small pension, not hotel. For unsophisticated travelers. Food is good, you have a lot of outdoor activities around. Ski resort Gerlitzen is 5 km away.
5 min away is lake.
Furniture is outdated. Wifi is free also in your room.
