Kleines Hotel Kärnten

We stayed at the hotel for a family get together end of April - beginning of May and I just cannot praise the hotel enough. The rooms are immaculate - nothing is left to be desired. Everything is where it is meant to be - someone has actually thought about where things should be in a room and they are all individually designed and spacious with all mod cons you may look for. All overlook the beautiful Faaker See with a private lawned area just by its' shore with your own sun loungers. The furnishings are first quality and the beds are so comfortable you really do not want to get up in the morning . I have not slept this well and this much in a long time. The large balconies which every room has have day beds and also sort of 'net-curtains' should you wish to be shielded from direct sunlight when sitting outside. The food was out of this world: dinner was a four course menu with a lot of local produce and prepared with so much love and attention it was just a joy to eat. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. Fresh eggs in the morning, a variety of delicious breads, homemade muesli as well as fruit, cheeses and cold cuts from the region along with juices and home made spreads and jams. An absolute delight. The owners could not have made us feel more comfortable. We were a party of 15 and I would not call us the quietest guests in the world. They were so friendly it was just a joy to be there: everyone felt so well looked after and happy. We will try to go back for more as I do not think you would ever get enough of the hospitality and friendliness along with a very stylish hotel and stunning views as well as superb food. Thank you very much for having us it was an utmost pleasure - I wish I could have stayed longer.
