Normally I don’t write a review while I am still staying at the hotel but this is an unusual year ...we are here to enjoy the lake and chose this hotel as it is close to the lake. The moment we walked in we were treated superbly. We had booked a family room and the hotel moved us to a bigger room the next day without a request from us. They are engaged and lovely and try and make your stay comfortable. The rooms are very clean and welcoming. It is not fancy but then it doesn’t pretend to be ! Breakfast ist very good and you have fresh eggs made. They are kind to children and the family pet. Dinner was also excellent - the restaurant was full so pre book! They have a lovely outside dining area which feels a little like Italy. I can only recommend this place. Great value for money and a family that works very hard and makes the guests feel Welcome. We will be coming back.
