Recommend: Wonderful and helpful people that operate this hotel. Our stay was in the cold end of May so sadly we did not get to go swimming and really enjoy the lake for fun. The location is alongside the Wolfgangsee Lake just a couple of minutes’ drive from the village of St. Wolfgangsee. One hour drive to Salzburg. It’s a good base location for the area. Be warned that the road is a narrow one lane road so be prepared to stop and let on coming cars pass. The breakfast was traditional Austrian with the extra bonus of fresh eggs cooked to order. We orders scrambled both days. Coffee is on demand via a Jura coffee machine, which was very similar to the one we own, so I was assured a splendid cup of coffee each morning. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. (Perhaps a modern renovation) My wish would have been for a larger shower and a coupe of small wash cloths. After a long day hiking, I needed a good scrub.
