The pictures don’t do it justice, it truly is incredible! My partner and I stayed in a standard double room in the Meierhof building, and had breakfast in the Schloss. We found our room to be a decent size, with very comfortable beds. It was located on the 2nd floor facing the courtyard, and we slept wonderfully with no interruptions. The housekeeping staff were lovely and the cleanliness of our room was amazing, absolutely everything was spotless. Breakfast in the Schloss was great, plenty of choices even for fussy eaters, and of course the views are brilliant. All staff both in the Meierhof building and in the Schloss were friendly and happy to help at all times, we felt so welcomed and happy during our stay! Forgot to get photos of our room but it was genuinely spotless. Lovely clean bedding, fresh towels, toiletries, such comfy mattresses and pillows! We also had a fan which was perfect for keeping us cool on the warm nights, due to our room being on the top floor it could get quite warm but we found the fan more than sufficient in combatting this. The hotel grounds are perfect for nature-lovers, we had the pleasure of meeting so many geese and goslings, ducklings, and red squirrels! It is on the pricier side, but we can’t complain. We had a wonderful holiday thanks to this gorgeous hotel and all the staff that help to run it. A big thank you to all the receptionists, waiters and housekeepers!
