I booked the room asking directly for late check-in. My request was denied (saying it's not possible after 23 and with 50 EUR surcharge after 21, which is already a lot); also my request to cancel booking was denied - I was charged for the room that I could not check-in. Big rip-off!

rip-off!

I stay this hotel for 3 days. It is a good location and clean hotel. It nears train station and conference hall. The service is good hospitality. I recommend this hotel if you have conference at Salzburg conference hall.

Good hotel

We stayed here for 4 nights with private bathroom, which are clean and spacious. Only short walk 5mins from the station and there is a SPAR supermarket here.

There are kettle, cutlery and fridge in the common kitchen which is convenient for us.

The free parking is a plus but there are limited spaces.

This hotel is just next to their sister hotel Pension Jahn and you can have breakfast if you choose (we bought our Salzburg Card here).

The owner is friendly and helpful.

I will definitely stay here again if I return to Salzburg. 

This is the place with No regret 

Ok for short stay. Cheap and convenient, near (3-5 mins walk) to bus and train station. Room is clean, bright. But no air con. Bathroom has no heater so cld be cold during winter. Value for money. Own by Taiwanese family.

Free and easy holiday

Very clean basic accommodations. Nice kitchen and fridge. Can get noisy when other patrons going in and out. Great location. 5 minutes walk to train station. 15 minute walk to Old town. I would stay here again.

Short visit

Pros: very comfortable and quiet location Conversely: there is no breakfast (many bars in the vicinity) We chose this solution because the hotels were already mostly full or with star prices and we were definitely satisfied with the ns choice. Initially we were a little doubtful about not having the opportunity to have breakfast on site we were reassured when we realized that there is a shopping mall and the station in the vicinity, besides some other bars. The area is quiet and we never had any problems to turn around at night.

It's a great room.

Great location only 5 mins walk from Railway and Bus stations. 15mins to Mirabell Gardens via busy road or 20mins via quiet river path.
The buiding is a very large old house, set well back from the road in its own gardens. The owners have the upstairs floor with all the guest accomodation on the ground floor.
Very large comfortable bedroom with small bathroom. Pretty basic but includes table and chairs and use of a shared kitchen so perfect if wanting to not eat out.
Large garden including trampoline and plenty of off street parking.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful both at check-in and out. 
Only point to note is there is a 50e deposit for the key which although was refunded, it was unexpected and a little high.

Good location and very freindly staff

This is by far the cleanest room throughout my Europe trip this time round. 

Very near to the Salzburg main train station which makes it very easy for us to use it as a base to do day trips to Munich and Hallstatt. Walkable to the city center. 

Huge, clean room with clean towels, bathrooms and sheets. They will clean your room and change your towels everyday. Friendly and helpful owner. Quiet area.

You might want to prepare 50 Euros as deposit as there are a lot of people who forgot to the keys before they leave. They will return you the 50 euros when you return the keys. 

There's only one roll of toilet paper for about 6 - 8 rooms to use which is usually emptied by 10 or 11pm. It'd be good if they can leave 1 or 2 more rolls for the night.

Great location with clean, huge room

We went to this facility on the advice of a colleague who had been there before. It is run by a friendly family of Chinese who live on the upper floor. Small (6 rooms, all in Salisburg), very clean, has rooms with toilet paper with toilet paper with toilet paper with toilet paper and external credit cards with toilet paper (more expensive). The hotel is conveniently located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but the hotel is also very convenient to use, even if the hotel is not located nearby.

Saving in Salzburg

Comfortable rooms and beds. Better than a hostel for cheap accomodation and close to everything. The family was so hospitable and the rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. They even left us chocolates for New Years. Would come back for sure. Would suggest adding an extra toilet/shower for the rooms sharing a bathroom or make sure you book a room with an ensuite.
