Hotel & Art Kristiana

My fiancé and myself had an incredible week-long stay at Hotel & Art Kristiana. We are avid skiers and the hotel suited us perfectly for that, with close proximity to the ski lifts (<5 minute walk to both the Bernkogelbahn and Kohlmaisbahn ski lifts and - 10-15 minute walk to the Schattberg X-press ski lift. As far as the hotel itself, it is great all-round with the following points worth noting: - Our room was comfortable and spacious with ample storage space. We travelled with multiple large suitcases and did not have a problem with packing away everything into the cupboards and shelves. The room is generally well maintained and has all the amenities you would expect from a four star hotel. - The food is noteworthy. The hotel offers breakfast and dinner, with breakfast being a buffet each morning and dinner being a combination of à la carte dining and buffet, with the menu changing each night. The level of care and thoughtfulness taken with the preparation of the food is impressive. - The staff are incredible, warm people and go out of their way to ensure that your stay with them is memorable. - The public amenities in the hotel round off the experience very nicely. The ski room is well organised and equipped to ensure that all guests can safely store their boots and skis. The spa (with steam room, Finnish sauna and infrared sauna) is most welcome after a long day of skiing and the bar has a welcoming, warm atmosphere. We have stayed in several good Alpine hotels for ski trips, and Hotel & Art Kristiana is right up there with the best all-rounders. I would highly recommend a stay here!
