We were originally booked in the sister hotel- Hotel Tauernpasshohe, after a swift check in to a basic but clean room we were straight on to the ski slopes. 5 runs later I was on my way to the excellent Medical Centre with a fractured ankle. Whilst in hospital my husband arranged for our upgrade to the Hotel Wagner, as I needed a bit more comfort and in particular a lift. The staff at the hotel Wagner, spoke excellent English and were so considerate and kind. The room was cleaned each day by cheerful staff who did a great job. Breakfast was great and there was a nice atmosphere. Hopping around on crutches, I was encouraged and supported by the staff, the only challenge was the steps up to the hotel. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, I thought they were so genuine and kind.
