Hotel Latschenhof

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days in January. The location of the hotel is great, literally just a few steps from the slope. The skiing resort is quite compact, you can easily make it all around in a day. Spacious outdoor parking is available for free. All amenities can be found in the walking distance (ski service/rental on the way to the slope, a supermarket a short walk away, similar to restaurants, bakery...). The rooms were beautiful, newly renovated. All hotel was clean and nicely decorated. One of our rooms had an electric kettle and the other one had a capsule coffee machine with coffee and sugar provided, that is more than we could expect :). No fridge, but it is winter time, anyway. There was an apres ski afternoon refreshment served in the restaurant, which we really appreciated (coffee and tea, a cake, a soup, sausages or other small snacks). The breakfast buffet was rich, the only downside was that a couple of times some items were eaten and not refilled as there were no more (croissants, sausages). And we missed some sweet pastry or pancakes. But this is no big deal, there were plenty other things to choose from. For dinner, the salat bar is buffet style, the rest is served - an appetizer, a soup, a choice of main dish (meat, fish or vege) and a choice of dessert (cheese plate or a sweet dessert). The choice is made during breakfast, which is really convenient - you know what to look forward to and you can plan the rest of your daily diet easily. All meals were delicious and beautifully served, like from a Michelin chef. We did not try wellness, so I cannot comment on that. The skiing room was spacious, with lockers assigned to individual rooms, each containing boot heaters. Wifi was fast and stable at all times. Available for free in all areas including the rooms, not just lobby. We definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and hope to return ourselves.
