Fantastic
8 reviewsWe rented two of the self service apartments for one week in July of 2018. The Olperer apartment and the Rothenspitz. We loved our stay here. The owners are very nice and organized. The apartments are very spacious - on three different levels. Ours, the Olperer had incredible views from both the living room, the large balcony and one of the bedrooms. Each apartment had a wood burning fireplace that heated the place nicely - with plenty of available wood. The kitchen was well stocked and we had two bathrooms. There is a washing machine and one apartment had a dishwasher. The place is a bit dated - furniture wise but we did not mind - it gives it character and charm. The apartments are very well maintained and clean. The beds were super comfortable. The grounds of the place are nice and serene and well kept - there are places to sit outside and a trampoline for the kids and bikes and scooters. There were two wonderful hikes that you can take within walking distance of the house - one is quite flat and easy - good for young kids - but it goes along a nice stream and passes the local church - the other has more of a climb but is well worth it and takes you to two incredible lakes. The town itself is a bit dead but you are a short drive away from a small grocery store and a larger one. There were also three or four good restaurants a short drive away and a good visitor's center two small towns over. We found this to be a good central spot to do lots of things in the area - south of Innsbruck. You do need a car in this area to really get around and if you use the well maintained fast highway you do have to pay a pretty large fee - 9.50E each way but it got you places pretty quickly. One day it rained while we were there but we found a wonderful indoor/outdoor public pool about 30 min away that was great. The apartment was very quiet at night and peaceful. We loved this apartment and the view is to die for - really out of this world. We visited during a heat wave all over Europe and even though it was super hot just south of here - our temperature was perfect. Everything is so green. We highly recommend this apartment especially to those with children.
