This is a truly lovely guest house. It is beautiful and cozy (approx. 12 rooms ) so you feel more like visiting relatives than being at a large hotel, where everyone is a stranger to you. Andrea and her daughter, both dressed in traditional Tyrolian clothes, will welcome you very warmly at their home. The hotel is beautifully decorated with small details but also nice photographs from the family's life. We have visited this place twice because we are always drawn back to this magical place. The hotel is overlooking the steep valley slopes as well as the Stubaier glacier and from each side of the home you have a mountain view :) We especially love coming here in winter. Here is why. You can quickly get to the Stubaier glacier or Schlick resorts with a free bus shuttle, both offer amazing skiing and boarding opportunities at high elevations. After serious snow fun we are always happy to come back to the warmth and coziness of our beautiful room and then soon enter the Wellness cove which offers a Swedish sauna, Damfbad, infrared cabin, feet massage, a relaxing room, and a tea bar. After this long relaxation we go for an amazing dinner which includes a salad bar, cream soup, main course, dessert, and a likor. Morning breakfast is also a feast including cakes and fresh fruit. All of this for a really affordable price! If they are full, Bergcristal is just 500m away, a 4 star hotel run by the same family, a bit more expensive and larger, but also very cosy and a bit more classy.
