Haus Waldesruh

Finding the way in to the accommodation was a little tricky - as it's not very well sign posted and there was also a separate carpentry business run in the building (but I will come to that in a little bit). We had walked around the whole perimeter of the building looking through windows to see where the entrance was. It was dark and there didn't seem to be much going on apart from the carpentry work shop, but after 10 minutes we found the owner who was very friendly and welcoming and showed us to our room. The room was very spacious with a lovely view from the balcony out over the mountains. The kitchenette was very new and up to date and made to a nice standard. Everything was also very clean and the bed was very comfortable! The room was also very warm in minus temperatures. The bus stop was a 2 minute walk away wearing ski boots and carrying all of your ski equipment. There is also a room where you can store your skis and boots, but as a previous reviewer has stated it is always open and on the outside of the house so technically anyone could access it. There is a sign on the door that states nothing will be stolen. The only downside to the stay was the noise created by the carpentry business, but it wasn't unbearable. Over the weekend there was no noise what so ever. I would stay here again, it was great.
