We were lucky enough to stay at Appartements Windschnur from 11th - 18th March. It is located in the centre and within a few hundred yards from the gondola to the Ahorn mountain and even less for the Penken gondolas. The views from the lifts are amazing and there are slopes to suit all abilities and fun children's areas. The Lechner family at the Windschnur are lovely - very friendly and helpful and the apartments are super clean, spacious and welcoming. There are restaurants to suit all tastes and everything we needed was close at hand. Mayrhofen has a lovely atmosphere and we would certainly like to return. The week wasn't long enough.
