A surprisingly lovely one night stay. We booked this hotel as it offered half-board at a very reasonable price, which was convenient for a one night stop. The evening meal turned out to be a 4 course fine dining set menu with cheese buffet to follow, we would have expected to pay £50+pp back at home. Variations to the set menu were available for allergies/dietary differences but we didn’t require these so enjoyed tuna tatare, beef broth, Roast beef and chocolate soufflé with homemade mango sorbet! The room was spacious with lovely views over the valley, breakfast was also excellent. Staff were welcoming and made an effort to help us when our limited German language skills ran out. We were sad we were only stopping one night! The photo shows the view from our balcony.
