Heuholzmühle Privatzimmer

This old building has been restored with very good taste preserving the country-style and yet providing all comfort. Much more spacious inside as one would expect when you see the building from the outside, our room (Die Scheenkammer) was surprisingly big and spacious. Spotless clean, it had everything which was required (wardrobe, big comfortable bed, desk…). The bathroom comprised a bathtub and was equally spacious. There is a common dining room where breakfast is served that offers as well a fireplace and some comfortable chairs to enjoy. Kitchen has a proper coffee machine for guests to use and cold beverages as well as some basic snacks are kept for guest at very affordable prices in the basement. There is free WIFI in the entire house which works very well. The guesthouse is just 15 minutes car drive from Salzburg (south) and another 15 minutes to the Trumer Seen (north). A car is definitely needed to move around but we noticed there are many biking trails in the area Christina is very nice host who provided us with suggestions to park in Salzburg, restaurants in the area and some places to visit (Mattsee is very nice place). She was very understanding when we had to unfortunately cut our trip short by one day when my husband got sick with fever and cold. This is a wonderful place to explore not only busy Salzburg while remaining in a relaxing and quite environment, but also to explore the country side around.
