100 reviewsThis Hotel and the staff working at Hotel Hinteregger were excellent. All spoke English well and could not have been more helpful. Planning and arrangements by email and phone calls to Tanya were easy with quick responses and clear explanations. Food in the restaurant was superb with great choice of Austrian food that was delicious with plenty of it at both breakfast and dinner. The chef and catering staff went to great effort to get hot food on the table for all 4 of us at the same time. The quality and range of food was very good and over the 8 days we didn't get the same main course offered. The hotel was always clean and tidy and the rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. The pool was warm and never busy. The location for walking was really good with helpful support from the hotel and tourist information office opposite where we were able to buy a good local walking map for 6.50€. The town is in the Tauern National park with great wildlife and guided walks available. The wildflowers were amazing. We would definite recommend this hotel and the town and area for walking. It took us 3 hours to drive to the town from Munich and was a very easy route. Free parking was readily available at the back of the hotel.
