bad is little...in an organized trip I had the bad luck of staying in this hotel...I don't understand why the agency chose this...the reviews were not good..they thought whoever paid for this trip were fools?.cold rooms without hot water, no toiletries..the poor dinner..the typical dinner c had been said..knor soup.roast you make at home you'd be better off with a spoonful of soft and crunchy vegetables..someone was luckier.. officers...not to mention breakfast...from verg...and the stench that was in the locker rooms..if you're an EV animalist.you might feel bad....the hotel for a traveler is a good place to feel...comfortable, on vacation, and more importantly, you'd never come home to cry for breakfast..at least once in a while..this is not the time to come home to cry..

More than bad.

Unfortunately, the judgement cannot be positive because the hotel does not have a boiler system that allows you to have both heating and hot water at the same time. The rooms, especially on the third floor, do not receive hot water if other guests on the lower floors are using it. The heaters have not been turned on in time. The courtesy of the staff leaves much to be desired! I would not recommend this hotel!!

Ice and no hot water

We stayed at this hotel in the company of friends in December 2013-2014. The owners of the hotel are a pleasant Austrian family. They also live in it. They stayed at this place. to go skiing. Most of our company - it was their first experience! In the mountains there is a bus. 15 minutes to go. The hotel is located in a quiet place. In the evening you can walk to restaurants/bars. Go on foot for 15 minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and quiet. Not suitable for those. who are used to unbridled fun:).. There is a sauna in the hotel.

New year holidays

We stayed here for a wedding, rented a big corner room. It was exactly as we hoped - nothing fancy, just right. Very clean, good firm beds, nice bedclothes. Also great to have a little kitchenette, because the food options around there are not so exciting. 

To be aware, the breakfast was a bit sparse and boring. Also, our room smelled strongly of cigarettes, we are guessing that the last guest smoked on the balcony but left all the door open so it all went into the room. 

All in all, a nice place for a summer wedding or a winter ski holiday.

Plain & simply good

We stayed here for one night in August 2011. The room was very clean but small with a plastic shower room. The staff of the family-run guesthouse were very friendly, hospitable and trying to fulfill our wishes, so it was possible to get something out of the kitchen despite arriving later. The dinner from the menu (mainly sliced in several variations) was reasonable for the price. The breakfast was sufficient, fresh and for the guesthouse everything available.

Very friendly and family-run hostel

A good address: clean, tidy and comfortable, very good breakfast, with fresh bread and homemade jams. Gentle and available staff. Unique in: the beds a little too soft and the spacious furnishings of the rooms (a hair dryer and a soap could have put them!)

Family atmosphere

The hostel is located on the - little-traveled - passageway from Matrei to Pfons. After Matrei it is 20 minutes on foot. The landscape is beautiful, but for a hiking holiday you wouldn't want to stay there: on the second floor the ceilings are too low and the rooms are very small. The space is still reduced by oversized cabinets (for one night on the way you don't need giant cabinets). The frame for the refrigerator is also extended as a cabinet. For this there is no storage space for suitcases. The beds are 190 cm long. The bathroom is a plastic moisture cell. In the shower you have the holder for the brush, so you have to hold it in your hand. The breakfast is limited to the loose price. The whole offer is completely overbought for this offer.
