Melk is a small town, and this hotel/restaurant is right on the main square. During tourist season the square is very populated most of the time because of the Abby which towers above the city. The hotel is Austrian traditional, not expensive, and clean. The restaurant has both porch and inner courtyard seating and the food is very good. We stayed only one night having come in by bicycle. The inn is very bike friendly and the staff cooperative and friendly
