11 reviewspros: + location: Carinthia is a great summer destination, hotel is near A2 and A2 highway, only a few minutes drive from Italy (10 km to border, 250 km to Venice) and Slovenia (10 km to Triglav National Park) + quiet place, aside from the main road, not far from the Faaker lake + free hotel parking + indoor swimming pool + lift / elevator + hotel offers all-inclusive deals, discounts for kids on extra beds cons: - German-only environment... Hotel website, "house rules" handout and even the form you need to fill in to choose a dinner meal is in German only. Only one waitress spoke some English, the rest of the staff we came across (including the receptionists) spoke only German. - paid wi-fi, 30 minutes for 2€ is not what a modern traveller expects these days :( - the hotel is not at the lake shore (unlike others); guests might get a (free) access card to the closest beach at the hotel reception but a 10€ deposit needs to be paid; the beach is cca 300 m away Tip: For a longer stay consider buying the Kärnten Card to get a free acces to over 100 destinations + cca 60 discounts. The price was 36€/adult and 16€/child but we saved about 150€ in a week.
